This private island villa sits in a serene lagoon on the north-east coast of Mauritius, surrounded by turquoise sea. The villa accommodates 6 adults plus 2-3 children and comes with a housekeeper who prepares breakfast and lunch daily.
A welcome Mauritian meal (usually chicken curry) and a small starter pack of groceries are provided on arrival.
OUTDOORS
Life is organised around a large open veranda (70 m²) with lagoon views to the north, east and west. A 35 m² deck overlooks the turquoise sea, with a dining table set under the trees. A large Weber grill is available for outdoor cooking, and an outdoor shower lets you rinse off after swimming. A standby generator starts automatically during power outages.
INDOORS
The villa is built with natural materials: stone, white and weathered wood, raw concrete, linen and natural fabrics. The 37 m² living room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The fully equipped kitchen has granite worktops.
BEDROOMS (ALL AIR-CONDITIONED)
Sleeping arrangements are designed for 6 adults plus 2-3 children. Note that the third bed in the west bedroom is on a loft and requires climbing a ladder.
East Suite: 26 m², own veranda, double bed (180 cm), en-suite bathroom & WC
North Suite: 22 m², own veranda, double/twin bed (180 cm), en-suite bathroom & WC
West Bedroom: 14 m², three single beds (90 cm), shared bathroom & WC
South Bedroom: 13 m², double bed (160 cm), garden door, shared bathroom & WC
IN-HOUSE DINING
Breakfast and lunch preparation are included in the villa price; shopping is done by the guests. If time allows, the housekeeper can also prepare a simple dish to reheat for dinner.
